Any institution’s prospect pool will be substantially smaller without excellent alumni contacts, and its chances of achieving considerable fundraising success would be harmed. Alumni have the ability to be the most devoted and generous supporters of their alma maters. For over forty (40) years, the Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (CACTS) has been reaping the dividends of such relationship.
The Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary Alumni Association (CACTSAA) has a network of more than 10,000 members who are doing well in the Christian ministry and their various secular endeavours in different parts of the world. CACTSAA provides ambassadorial platforms for its members to represent the image of CACTS well and contribute positively within their spheres of influence. In addition, CACTSAA has contributed immensely to the running of the Seminary in terms of referral of prospective students as well as infrastructural development, and its members are obliged to do more.
As a way of furthering mutual relationship, CACTSAA being concerned about the spirituality of its members holds an annual (decentralised) conference where spirit-filled and impactful lectures are delivered and corporate intercessory prayers are made. This also gives the association the opportunity to discuss matters concerning the development of CACTS, Main Campus, Ile Ife, and all its Satellite Campuses.
Apart from the benefits the Seminary enjoys from its alumni, the Seminary also reciprocates in providing necessary support within its purview to help its alumni achieve positions of success and influence through prompt response to their official demands.
The current Chairman of CACTSAA is Pastor I.O. Eyebiokin, the Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Essien Region.
